Event 3210 windows 2008
How did you access powershell on the afflicted computer? Logging in as Admin or another way? In this test scenario, I had console access to the VM, so you do need some sort of access at the workstation. I was logged in as local admin, but you could also elevate a PowerShell prompt with admin rights from a non-admin session. Then, you need domain credentials for a user that has rights to add computers to the domain.
See if that applies to your situation. Hi Tristian, I encountered this recently. I has having this issue on a couple of VMs that were restored from an image. This saved a rebuild. I had to log on as the local admin account through vSphere. Logged off and then logged back in as my domain account. I did a reboot of the server and once it came back online, I was able to RDP into it again as well. So I walk over to one of the effected PCs and go to the site to request the patch.
Otherwise if it happens latter, you won't know which one fixed the issue. Delete the trust and create a new one. I also confirmed correct DNS addresses and there is only one network card in the computer. The error keeps popping all the time.
I had the answer - i just wanted to verify it with someone!! GDR service branches contain only those fixes that are widely released to address widespread, extremely important issues.
