How to go to system preferences on windows 7
For computers running versions of Windows up to Windows 7, the settings are found in the Control Panel. The Control Panel can be accessed by clicking on the Start button in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, then clicking Control Panel on the right side of the Start menu.
Now select the option that fits what you are searching for most closely, and you will be directed to the correct configuration application. If you cannot find the setting which you are looking for, then click the Setting header at the top of the search result as the following image is showing.
